Raising Babies, by Leena Weaver, Ed.S., NCSP and Traci Glover, M.Ed., LPC , LSW
Many children come from places of hurt, pain and trauma where their emotional and physical needs may not have been met. The intention of this book is for adults and children to gain a better understanding and empathy for themselves or for others who have come from intense hurt and pain that impacts their behavior, emotions and relationships. We believe that through this understanding healing can begin to occur.

Children who have been adopted often don’t have clear memories of their lives with their birth parents because they were too little. They do have emotional memories of their early childhood that can create strong feelings and reactions in them which can lead to negative behavior. This book is a way to help children explore those emotions and feelings about what happened to them prior to their adoption and help lead to healing.
